Have you ever paid for a theme for a forum?

I've only gotten free themes to use. I adjusted one of the free ones so that the colors wouldn't be so bright.

I think I would barter instead of paying money. I'm an artist so maybe I have skills to offer?

Yes of course, I have paid for forum themed on more than one occasion. I did started out using free themes and even free forum software but when I decided to push up my work, I started making of of XenForo and also paid for some of their themes.

Paid themes are always better especially with how good it makes the forum looks. I have used free forum themes in the past and I never liked them. There are good themes on WordPress and Xenforo.

I normally either create a theme myself or just buy them. I am not that big a of a fan of the free ones.

Yes I have which it's better in some ways because they keep the forum theme updated. some free ones have flaws as well. it does take the coder time and effort to create the theme.

I have paid for a theme on Xenforo which we used in designing our forum and currently I am working on a new forum and I would purchase a different theme for this one.

As far as I'm concerned, free themes aren't worth it. They won't give you the good taste you desire in seeing your forum be in. It's why I'm more comfortable with paying for my forum themes. I don't have the time to create them myself.

I have only known buying of new themes for my forums ever since I have been using forums. The paid themes are usually 10x better than the free themes. Since I can afford buying them, there's no need stressing myself over creating one.

For the forum, I co-own the theme we have we bought to use for our forum but for the forums that I have owned myself I have always used free themes as I don't always have the funds to be able to put them into a theme. I am hoping with the forum I am running now though that will change and I will be able to opt for a paid-for theme for the first time.
