My laptop keeps deleting files on its own

Something is definitely wrong with my laptop because in the last few days, I have been noticed some of my files being deleted which I will recover from the recycle bin. But it keeps happening all the time.

What could be the cause of this?

This is a very big problem in my opinion. It might be a problem with the operating system. You should have it checked out as soon as possible in order not to compromise other files.
