45$ transfer fees for vbulletin

Just asked VB support if one of my license is eligible for transfer.

he said yes but with 45$ transfer fees.

is this normal? I thought transfer was free?

The transfer fee was started alongside the release of vBulletin 5, so it is fairly new.

that's too bad, they said:

Our current policy is that EU customers transferring a license must pay $45.

I have hesitated years to sell my old licenses. just to avoid the transfer headache. and know when I decided, they change their policy

I don't know if it matters to sell a license for 100$ if I have to pay 45$ to IB.
