<h1>vBulletin 6.1.5 Changes and Updates</h1>
<p>vBulletin 6.1.5 is now available for self-hosted (download) customers. vBulletin Cloud sites will be automatically upgraded over the upcoming weeks.</p>
<h3>Start a Topic Module</h3>
<p>A new module has been added to the Site Builder. When placed on a page, the end user can use it to start a topic in any of the selected channels. Using the module will put a "Start a Topic" button at its location. When selected, the user will see a dialog box allowing them to choose a channel. Once they make their selection, the editor will appear with the channel permissions set according to the user's permissions.</p>




<h3>Polls</h3>
<p>The option to allow users to change their poll votes is available when creating new Polls.</p>




<h3>Mark Channels Read</h3>
<p>You can now add this link to your Sub-navigation links. On new installations, the link will be automatically placed on the navigation bar. For upgrades, you will have to manually add it by clicking the "Add Mark Channels Read Link" button in the sub-navigation panel.</p>
<h3>Email Support</h3>
<p>The outgoing email feature has been refactored and now utilizes the PHP_MAILER package as its foundation. The changes allow support for OAuth usage on Microsoft Exchange and Google Mail servers.</p>
<p>Email Server settings have been separated from the global email options. These settings are located at Settings > Email Manager. This change makes it easier to separate options by provider, so you only need to enter the values necessary. The Email Manager offers configuration for legacy PHP Mail and SMTP features, as well as new implementations of PHP Mail and SMTP, including Gmail and Microsoft. </p>




<p>The email diagnostic has been moved to the Email Manager page as well, making it easier to test your connection.</p>
<h3>Deprecations</h3>
<ul>
<li>The "Log in with Twitter" Functionality is considered deprecated and will be removed in vBulletin 6.1.6.</li>
<li>PHP 8.1 is now considered deprecated. Please upgrade to a newer supported version.</li>
<li>MYSQL 5.7 and MariaDB 10.4 are now considered deprecated. The minimum required versions will be MySQL 8.011 and MariaDB 10.6 or higher. Please upgrade to a newer supported version.</li>
