Flarum vs Discourse

I don't know ruby and I mostly have tinkered with the PHP. So the experience that I have with the PHP gets me to work on the flarum. But I wonder if you have a choice to choose between the flarum and the discourse which one of the two you would choose?

Do you prefer the flarum or the discourse? Any reasons?

Discourse has more developers so I would choose that over Flarum. I love the look of Flarum, but it takes a while to get used to how basic it is. I almost went with Flarum for my craft forum but in the end I actually chose PhpBB.
